Austin Coates

Austin Coates is a Simulation Developer and Producer at Blueline. He assists in creating and delivering high-quality, engaging simulations for our clients’ learners, and provides assistance and support during the learning sessions. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Wilmington University.

Austin was introduced to L&D while working in theme parks in Central Florida. Setting others up for success and watching them grow gave him a sense of fulfillment that no other pursuit could match. From there, Austin worked on L&D projects for some of the biggest names in the hospitality industry before joining the Blueline team in 2019. The highlight of his job is seeing the engagement and enjoyment as learners work through Blueline’s simulations.

Austin lives in Orlando, FL, with his wife and their young daughter and son. When he has some time off from being a dad, Austin enjoys playing tabletop roleplay and video games, as well as watching new movies with his wife.
