In my case, up until about 3 months ago, the answer was “no.” Not for lack of interest, effort or intellect, had you asked my Mom about Blueline, she would have said something like “I think that they make games, you know like flight simulators for big companies.”
How do you sum up nearly 13 years of blood, sweat and tears in two sentences? For us, it’s
“Blueline facilitates transformation through engagement. Accelerating strategy execution through immersive learning experiences and powerful communications technologies.”
But I have to admit that it wasn’t as easy as simply putting pen to paper. In our case, a decision to redesign our website nearly a year ago initiated a process of organizational reflection that has made it possible for us to define Blueline in just a handful of words, and to clearly define and bring additional focus to our areas of expertise.
This challenging but incredibly important exercise has had a major impact on our business. It simplified prioritization and decision making during business planning and has become a sense of pride for our me, my Partners and our team. It has unleashed an organization full of advocates, proud of the work that they do and organization that they serve (and their Moms).
